The Flotilla meets on the first tuesday of each month at Jim's restaurant just off the freeway 106000 south off ramp at 7:00 pm. You are welcome to come and join us. Just tell the Hostess that you are here with the coast gaurd auxiliary and she will help you find us. The flotilla hosted a weather course to enhance our understanding of weather and how it affects our patrols. Members of the division were also invited to attend. All members that took the test passed and are one step closer to obtaining the ox op award. The flotilla hosted a navigation training class at the homes of Larry Wilcox in Apine Utah, and Joyce Bell In American Fork. We had 8-9 individuals that took the class, and four took the test. Check out our Pictures of the exam on the link below. We are now waiting for the exam results. Good luck to all.. Navigation Part B Charting Pictures. Now that the boating season is over, we are working on getting training organized and started. We will have some members training for ox op classes, and patrols, knots, and seamanship. times and schedules are to be announced. We will also be wanting to hold some boating safety courses, maybe in conjuction with the adult education department. Times dates, and places will be announced at a later time. Keep an eye out on the adult education schedule for that announcement. For further information contact the flotilla Commander, Rex Miner, 8017566792, tyrex20011@yahoo.com, or Joyce bell, 8012257296.
